Day 1. Nairobi - Mara

A safari (budget / adventure camping) to the world famous Bird Sanctuary of Lake Nakuru, then South over the Mau Escarpment to Kenya's greatest concentration of game - the Maasai Mara.

Day 1: Nairobi - Nakuru
Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive to the Great Rift Valley viewing sceneries en route arriving to the Pink Lake often referred so due to it?s Great masses of Flamingos. After lunch proceed for game drive in the Park with numerous Animals. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru guest house. Lake Nakuru's claim to fame is anchored on its flamingo's and the over 400 species of birds found here. The lake itself is a soda lake on the floor of the rift valley. The sight of the at times millions of flamingos is quite spectacular. From a distance the lake appears ringed in pink. The Lake has also earned a reputation as an important haven for endangered species- particularly the Rothschild Giraffe and the black and white rhino. Lions, waterbuck, buffalo and baboons are all residents here.

Day 2: Nakuru - Maasai Mara
Depart the camp soon after breakfast and drive via the scenic floor of the Great Rift Valley to Masai Mara. Lunch at a campsite before proceeding for evening gamedrives. Dinner and overnight stay at a Mara sidai camp/Enchoro.

Day 3: Maasai Mara

Amboseli are the plains below Mt. Kilimanjaro. The waters from melted snow drain down the mountain under lava flows and surface in Amboseli, creating a green belt of swampland amidst dusty plains. Here, hippo, elephant and bird life can be seen against the backdrop of the magnificent snow-capped mountain.

Day 1: Amboseli National Park
Leave Nairobi and drive south through Maasai land to Amboseli. Short game drive en route to campsite arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at campsite.

Amboseli National park is one of the most popular wildlife sanctuaries in Kenya. It is situated close to Kenya. It is situated close to Kenya- Tanzania border, The Park lies at the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa (5,896m) whose snow-capped summit presents a splendid view on clear days. Amboseli National Park is often referred to as “The home of Elephants’ some of the largest Elephant herds are found here. The Game Park also contains vast groups of Zebras, Wildebeests, Giraffes, Buffalos, Hippos and Antelopes. Also to be found in Amboseli are lions, leopards, Cheetahs, Rhinos and many species of plain game.

Day 3: Nairobi
Early morning game drives then return to the camp for breakfast - exit the park and drive to Nairobi to arrive by 1400 hrs where the safari ends.

This Safari takes you South through the Great Rift Valley to Maasai Mara game reserve where the largest concentration of wildlife in Kenya is to be found. Then back North to the remote lakes Nakuru,Bogoria and Baringo a bird watchers and naturalists paradise.

Day 1: Nairobi-Maasai Mara
Pick up in the morning and head west for Maasai Mara Game Reserve for luch at the campsite followed by afternoon game drive in the game reserve which is Kenya's finest wildlife sanctuary.Including migrants, well over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. Although July, August and September are the months when the Mara plains are filled with migrating wildebeest and zebra, there is also resident wildlife year round. The famous Maasai tribesmen live within the dispersal area of the game reserve. Dinner and overnight at the Campsite.

Day 2: Maasai Mara
Full day spent in search of Elephant, Zebra, Wildebeest, Rhino, Buffalo, Lion, Cheetah, Leopard and other plains game. All meals and overnight at the base campsite.

Day 3: Maasai Mara
Morning game viewing in the Mara with an optional nature walk or a visit to a nearby Maasai village in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at the campsite.

Day 4: Maasai Mara-L.Nakuru
After breakfast leave the campsite and depart for Nakuru. Lunch is served enroute. Lake Nakuru is renowned for it's large variety of world famous birds. Its possible to see other game such as Rhino, Water Bucks, Impala, Buffalo and Gazelle in the surrounding gardens. Dinner and overnight at a Nakuru budget hotel.

Day 5: L.Nakuru-L.Baringo
Morning spent viewing game at Lake Nakuru and in the afternoon proceed to Lake Baringo. Those who prefer can organise a boat trip to view the many birds which inhabit this lake at extra cost. Dinner and overnight at the campsite.

Day 5: Baringo-Bogoria-Nairobi
Explore on foot this natural lake and view the Flamingoes in their thousands. Caution must be taken, while walking near the hot springs as these are super hot. Depart for Nairobi in the afternoon via Nakuru. Note: Either Game Viewing or a Tour to the Farm on the third day.

Day 3: Maasai Mara - Nakuru
Pre- breakfast game drive in the park,return to the campsite for late breakfast then leave Maasai Mara for Lake Nakuru National park with lunch served enroute arriving in Nakuru for dinner and overnight. After early morning breakfast leave the camp for morning game drive until lunch time, return to the camp for lunch. Day 4: L.Nakuru- Naivasha
After breakfast proceed to Lake Naivasha for a trek to Mt longonot to 9000ft, where a feeling to the altitude go along with the tropical sun and steep slope offers a good acclimatization for climbing Mt Kenya and Mt Kilimanjaro, have a afternoon game drive with dinner and overnight in hotel or lodge.

Day 5: Naivasha - Nairobi
After breakfast proceed to Hells Gate National Park for a trek into the gorge Hells Gate National park is famous for its natural hot geyser, eagle and vulture breeding grounds, visitors have the choice of driving, walking, camping, cycling and rock climbing within the park.Their after lunch proceed to Nairobi for the end of your trip.

Pick up from your hotel at 0730hrs and drive via the scenic floor of the spectacular Rift Valley from the top of an escarpment, dotted with its string of lakes, that is a great introduction to the natural beauty of the region. Camp at Roberts camp next to freshwater Lake Baringo where there is the option of taking a boat trip to search for hippo and crocodile and view the abundant birdlife around the lake shore.

Day 2: Lake Bogoria /Nakuru
From Baringo it's a short drive to Lake Bogoria, a shallow soda lake set amidst beautiful scenery. Like the other Kenyan soda lakes, it has no outlet and the intense evaporation leads to high levels of salt and minerals, which flamingos love and from a distance the surface of the water appears bright pink. Next to the lake are steaming hot springs and geysers, but don't be tempted to put your hands into the water if you are at all fond of your skin! Continue south to Lake Nakuru National Park, another shallow soda lake famous for its birdlife, and the park is also home to lion, many rhino and if you're very lucky you may spot a leopard in an Acacia tree. Overnight at Lake Nakuru Guest House.

Day 3: Lake Nakuru/Maasai Mara
We head south to Narok, Lunch en route then proceed to Maasai Mara -game is viewed as we proceed to the Mara Enchoro camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Amboseli
Early morning pre-breakfast game drive, return to the Lodge/campsite for late breakfast. After breakfast proceed for a further game drive or to a lodge for swimming (optional) lunch at the Lodge/campsite. Proceed for late afternoon game drive returning to the campsite for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Amboseli- Tsavo West
After breakfast leave the camp for morning game drive, then leave Amboseli for TsavoWest National Park with lunch enroute. On arrival set up the camp then proceed for the afternoon game drive. Return to the campsite for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Tsavo West- Tsavo East
Early morning breakfast followed by morning game drive with a visit to the Mzima Springs. Leave Tsavo West for Tsavo East arriving in good time for afternoon game drive, dinner and overnight at the campsite.

Day 5: Tsavo East- Mombasa
After breakfast proceed for early morning game drive until lunchtime then leave the park to be dropped in Mombasa or return to Nairobi according to the program.

Day 2: Tsavo West - Amboseli National Park

The Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe: over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. You will easily see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephant. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna- lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vultures.

Day 8: Maasai Mara – Nairobi
Morning game drive then return to the campsite for breakfast .drive to Nairobi where the safari ends.
